Valérie-Hélène believes that exceptional knitwear starts with exceptional yarn. Sensitive to the quality and the expertise of spinners, she considers the yarn to be the true foundation of every knitted piece. Its texture, composition, and technical properties shape both the creative process and the final garment.

She works closely with leading spinning mills including ACCADEMIA in Italy, as well as XINAO and Yarns & Colors in China. Through regular exchanges and by attending international trade fairs such as Pitti Filati, Feel the Yarn, and Spinexpo, she stays connected to the latest yarn innovations, sustainable developments, and industry needs.

These collaborations enable her to anticipate market expectations, refine her knitwear designs, and continuously develop collections that combine technical excellence, material innovation, and contemporary aesthetics.

As the founder and creative director of GAUGE, Valérie-Hélène oversees every aspect of the brand's creative vision. From the development of the jewelry collections to the overall visual identity, she ensures that every detail reflects the values, aesthetics, and story of the brand.
